SOFIA SEBASTIAN

ARTIST TALK
Thursday December 5th - 4 pm
Auditorium

I was born in Madrid but I currently live in the US. I was first introduced to photography while watching classic B&W and color movies as a teenager. I didn't know at the time but the powerful visual storytelling of movie masters such as F.W. Murnau, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Louis Malle, Francois Truffaut, Luis Buñuel, and many others became forever embedded in my brain. Starting in 2011 I took some photography classes at the International Center of Photography in NYC, but it was only recently that I discovered my passion for street photography.
