Tickets to the festival are available for $10 each day. Each 1-Day Pass includes admission to the festival and all scheduled programs on the selected ticket date.

 

Wednesday, November 30, 2022

  • 7:30 PM – 'Human Canvas' Gallery Opening & Book Signing with Art Wolfe

    • Join MSPF partner Leica Store Miami for an in-person gallery opening, artist talk and book signing with photographer Art Wolfe at their showroom in Coral Gables. Human Canvas combines Wolfe’s world-famous photography with his exquisite painting to create a groundbreaking collection of body art. Free. RSVP here.

  • 10 AM – HistoryMiami Museum opens to the public
     

  • 12 PM – Street Battle Miami: Team Selection with Niki Gleoudi (Little Box Collective) and Chris Suspect (DC SPC)

    • Meet at noon in the HistoryMiami auditorium to join “Street Battle Miami” where Niki and Chris will choose teams who will have 24 hours to photograph Miami. Each participant will select their best two photos to go head to head the following day in a competition judged by the live audience. More details below.
       

  • 2:00 PM – Downtown Miami Photowalk with Andrew Kochanowski

    • Join Burn My Eye founding member Andrew Kochanowski for a photowalk through downtown Miami. Meet in the auditorium at HistoryMiami.
       

  • 5:30 PM – Welcome Reception in North Building Lobby

    • Wine & cheese served.
       

  • 7 PM – MSPF Master Talk with Dina Litovsky

    • Dina Litovsky is a Ukrainian-born photographer living in New York City since 1991. Dina’s imagery can be described as visual sociology. Her work explores the idea of leisure, often focusing on subcultures and social gatherings. Dina is a regular contributor to National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, TIME, the New Yorker, GQ, and New York Magazine. In 2020, Dina won the Nannen Prize, Germany’s foremost award for documentary photography. Other awards include the PDN 30, New and Emerging Photographers to Watch, POYi, NPPA Best of Photojournalism, International Photography Awards and American Photography.

  • 10 AM – HistoryMiami Museum opens to the public
     

  • 1:30 PM – Street Battle - Niki Gleoudi (Little Box Collective) vs. Chris Suspect (DC SPC)

    • Join us in HistoryMiami’s auditorium to witness, vote and participate in this year’s street battle. The competition will be judged by the audience to see which collective, Little Box Collective or DC SPC, will be crowned this year’s winner.
       

  • 2:30 PM – Burn My Eye: Beyond Street with Andrew Kochanowski 

    • Andrew Kochanowski is one of the founding members of the longest running street photography collectives in the world. In this presentation he will discuss and present work from Burn My Eye members that stretch and push the traditional boundaries of of the genre. 
       

  • 3:30 PM – Niki Gleoudi "Mythos and the Moment"

    • Niki Gleoudi was born and raised in Greece. She loves exploring relationships, emotions and the energy that lies beneath. Niki’s photography has been recognized internationally as a winner or finalist by Sony Awards, LensCulture, Women Street Photographers, and many more. She has had her work presented in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including the Somerset House London UK, HistoryMiami, Scope Art Show Miami, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Greece, Voies Off Festival in Arles, France, and many more. Her street photography has been published in numerous books and publications including Street Photographers, Women Street Photographers, BURN magazine, Eyeshot Magazine, and The Best of LensCulture, Volume 3 photobook. Niki is a member of Little Box Collective and BULB.
       

  • 4:30 PM – Photo Slam

    • The MSPF Photo Slam is back! Submit one image for a chance to be selected for the MSPF Street Photo Slam, a live critique session during MSPF. If selected your image will be projected in front of a live audience and receive feedback from this year's judges. It's free and you will have 48 hours to enter starting Tues., Nov. 29 at 12 PM Noon ET. We will send an email  and post on social media when the submission portal is open. Deadline is Thur., Dec 1 at 12 PM Noon ET).
       

  • 5:30 PM – MSPF Workshop Presentations

    • MSPF Master Lecturers Dina Litovsky and Boogie will present the results from their student workshops.
       

  • 6:00 PM – MSPF Master Talk with Boogie

    • Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Boogie began photographing rebellion and unrest during the civil war that ravaged his country during the 1990s. Growing up in a war-torn country defined Boogie’s style and attraction to the darker side of human existence. He moved to New York City in 1998. He has shot for highly profiled clients and has been published in work-renowned publications. In 2013, Boogie was featured in Cheryl Dunn's street photography documentary "Everybody Street." His work has been exhibited around the world. Boogie lives and works between Brooklyn and Belgrade.
       

  • 7:00 PM - MSPF 2022 Winners Announcement and Closing
